Review for a U.S.A. Cruise on American Glory (ACL)

We took the New Year's cruise from St. Petersburg, FL, to Key West, FL, round trip. It was only the second cruise for this itinerary and everything was planned/executed very well. We like traveling with about 100 passengers. The Mayor and local town dignitaries of Punta Gorda literally rolled out the red carpet and offered goodie bags and mimosas when we docked to celebrate being a port. The

We were looking for a Christmas Cruise within the USA. We chose the inaugural Florida Gulf Coast Cruise on the brand new American Glory. We were not disappointed. The small ship offered all the amenities we desired on a cruise. The new ship was wonderful and the crew was exceptional. We have been on 15 cruises on various cruise lines to various destinations. The excellent food on this small

American Cruise Lines offers a very interesting cruise following the path of Lewis and Clark on the Snake and Columbia rivers. Each day is filled with excursions and entertaining presentations of this historic adventure. There are a multitude of daily excursions to choose from some are complementary others are fee based. We especially liked the Mt. St. Helens and Fort Clatsop tours. You also

The ship was nice and the cabin good size. Shore exertions good. But dining experience was not good. The selection of food not very good. No side dishes at lunch or dinner. Terrace grill Hamburger were like hokey pucks.. Out of bacon in am and staff too lazy to go to kitchen to get more. On night we sat down at 6:20 and got our entrees at 7:40! Another night whole table ordered clan

A huge and expensive disappointment
Review for a North America River Cruise on American Splendor (formerly America)

We took a Mississippi River cruise on American Cruise Lines Oct. 3-10. It definately had the price tag of a luxury cruise but unfortunately fell very short. The worst thing was there was Legionella in the water (employees said this was a known issue prior to our departure). We were a group of 11, 8 of us got sick. There was also dreadful mold in the showers which we asked to have cleaned. The

Hubby and i selected this cruise because we thought cruising the maine coast and traveling to the small maine coastal villages would be fun. There actually was very little coastal cruising, parked us inland due to bad weather and took us via coach ( bus) to our ports. Our veranda suite was a huge disappointment. not enough space in the closet for our clothes ( and this was just a 7 day

We recently returned from a lovely Fall sailing on the ACL Constellation through the San Juan Islands and along the Puget Sound, near Seattle. Embarkation was simple and quick, and soon we were seated for our first lunch, served with a nice selection of wines and always, a tempting choice of desserts and homemade ice creams! The ACL staterooms are much larger than those on most of the cruise

We just completed a cruise on the Hudson River on the Star. Having cruised many times before (albeit on different lines), I must tell you that this cruise was not good. One set of passengers that we got to know fairly well even left early because they were so disappointed. The ship needs a complete face lift and mechanical overhaul. Specific issues:1. Systemsa. The water system was

This is not our first River Cruise with American Cruise Line. Our trip was not only fabulous but informative from the moment we stepped onboard. This particular itinerary was a Fall Foliage/Art Immersion Cruise. The Hudson River Valley is well known for the artists who came there to capture the beauty of the Catskills. American Constitution is well appointed from top to bottom. Staterooms are

Our first time cruise on ACL was the Maine Coast and Harbors. We were scheduled to leave out of Portland ME, but rough seas kept the Eagle in Bath ME. ACL was very accommodating and bused us from Portland to Bath. Arriving at the ship, the boarding process was painless. The crew was most helpful and directed us to the restaurant for lunch while they offloaded the luggage and placed them in our
