Sapphire, Garnet, and Emerald Sanctums are three identical Jumping puzzles located in the three Borderlands of WvW.While the puzzles are all identical, you do earn three separate achievements for them.

How to Start

All puzzles start at the same location on the NW portion of the Borderlands map. At the location indicate by the arrow, there is a cave.

Entering a cave and turning a left, you will come up to a waterfall. You will need to keep following the path to the right and then go up a cliff.

Once you make it all the way to the top, you will want to do a big leap down to the ledge behind the waterfall. The fall won't kill you but do watch for potential enemy players camping behind the waterfall as you will land with low health.

Puzzle Walkthrough

From here on, you will need to grab both top and bottom sections of the key and open a vault door not too from the entrance.

Top Half of the key

Make these jumps when you land from the waterfall. Make sure to not fall off the big log when you jump to there

Once you are on the log, follow it to the end and make this jump

From here on, hug the left wall and avoid the oozes at the right. This will take you across the vault door that you can open once you have both halves of the key.

At the end of the platform, make these jumps and jump down the hole at the end.

This will lead you to more platform jumping. Beware that the first jump you will need to make is a rather long jump and failing this one will force you to start over. Use Swiftness here if you have it to cheat a little.

Follow the rock platforms, most of the jump are not too interesting except for two. At the location in the left picture below, you will want to jump from the red arrow location rather than the white arrow (it is tempting since it seems to be higher but it is actually further). For the jump right after, you won't make the jump to the higher rock platform so just jump on the left ledge instead.

At the end of these jumps is a narrow vine that you will need to get across to reach the chest that contains the top half of the key!

Bottom Half of the key

There is a shortcut to get to the bottom half of the key but it requires you to make a fairly diffcult drop. If you fail this drop, you will need to start from the begining but luckily there is another shortcut that can quickly put you back on the path for the bottom half.

To get the first shortcut, align yourself with the edge of the cliff near the chest for the top half of the key and drop carefully to the branch below. There is a big risk to drop into the hole between the branches.

What could work for you is to turn around and just drop down. This will put you near the end of the branch but let you avoid the gap between the branches.Once you are on the branch, walk along it and enter the cave below the chest.

If you didn't make the jump here, you will need to restart from the begining at the waterfall. Now, instead of jumping to the left at the start after the vine, you will want to jump right and follow the rock platforms up.

Once you are at the top, make these jumps

Now, you will need to jump onto this branch that you fell off earlier. This is a very diffcult jump so use swiftness if you need. Aim for the middle of the branch.

Anyways, traverse through the cave at the bottom and you will emerge into a canyon with a bunch of rock pillars that you need to jump across to get to the other side.

Once you get to the other side, feel free to kill the oozes so they don't bother you and run to end. From here, you need to drop down to a ledge below (sketchy drop) and make a big jump to the other side.

Once you are across, get to the top by jumping on the small rocks.

With both sections of the key, you can now open the doors to the vault you encountered on your way to the top half.
