How to complete defending the broken isles? ›

Complete the quest line associated with a zone experiencing a Legion Assault, which will end with a scenario quest that follows the naming scheme "Battle for " (e.g. Battle for Azsuna). Once the scenario quest, regardless of which zone, is turned in, Defending Broken Isles will be marked as complete.

Characters of level 98 or higher should be able to enter the Broken Isles, but unless they are highly geared, they will likely have some trouble.

In order to unlock the invasions, you need to have completed the quest Uniting the Isles on the character you wish to complete the invasion quests with. You would not be able to fully complete the quests otherwise. Keep in mind that you cannot complete these quests as part of a raid group.

In Dalaran, complete 4 quests to get to Argus: “Uniting the Isles,” “Armies of Legionfall,” “Assault on Broken Shore,” and finally “The Hand of Fate.” To return to Argus later, complete the Argus storyline through its 11th quest, “Rendezvous.” After, use the lightforged beacon near Dalaran to teleport to Argus.

Before you can quest through the Broken Isles, you first need to run through the Broken Shore (or Mardum if a Demon Hunter), witness Dalaran moving to the Broken Isles, acquire your Artifact Weapon, and unlock your Class Hall.

You can travel to the Broken Isles using the portal room in your capital city. You will need to take the portal to Azsuna from the portal room in either Stormwind or Orgrimmar.

For this all you need to do is accept the quest Armies of Legionfall and talk to Khadgar on the Dalaran Flight pad. Once you complete that quest you can then accept Assault on Broken Shore and do the following. For this Quest/Scenario you need to do about 8 stages.

To use your Dalaran Hearthstone on a specific character, you need to complete the Legion introductory questline on that character. Visit the Hero's Call Board in Stormwind or the Warchief's Command Board in Orgrimmar and pick the Broken Shore option ("Fight The Legion").

Like normal world quests, players can complete assault world quests while solo, in a party, or, for the elite world quests, in a raid group. Phase 2, defending a location, consists of one or two additional quests with several objectives.

Assaults are a really good way to level through Legion content, but they only happen once every 18 hours - As Legion is no longer considered relevant content, it can be quite easy to miss those timers and not reap the rewards for your alts.

If your character is level 50 or above, visit the Hero's Call Board in Stormwind or the Warchief's Command Board in Orgrimmar and pick up the Broken Shore option "Fight The Legion". This will grant you the quest "The Legion Returns" (Alliance/Horde).

The quest Uniting the Isles is per-character (you need to complete it on each ton you wanna do world quests).

Legion World Quests require that you reach level 45 and complete the quest Uniting the Isles. This quest requires that you reach Friendly status with all the factions of the Broken Isles.

Champions of Legionfall can only be completed after you have completed the quest chain to recruit your new 7.2 follower. The chain starts with a quest you get when returning to your class hall after accepting Champions of Legionfall. Once you have your new follower, go back to Deliverance Point to turn in this quest.
